Hinge design
Hinge design for Hoesch Sectiotec ®
A typical hinge detail with compressible, weather resistant sealing (hinge design may vary, depending on the manufacturer). The hinge fastening should be positioned as shown. We recommend that a Ø 4.5 mm pilot hole is drilled for a Ø 6.3 mm self-tapping screw. The screw should be tightened using a suitable tool. The fastening holes in the hinges should be positioned as far as possible from the hinge edge. The fulcrum should be on the centre line of the gap between the sectional door elements. The fastenings must be installed in the identified area (x) so as to ensure secure fastening of the hinge in the two integral steel legs.
